England and Scotland's borders run right through the wild and rugged landscapes that separate Northumberland in England from the Scottish Borders area.

To the west you'll find the Dumfries and Galloway peninsula - an area of outstanding natural beauty. Head eastwards and you'll come to Edinburgh with its remarkable city architecture. To the North you'll find Strathclyde where there are many fine golf courses.
