Cambridge is one of the UK's best known university towns. The university itself dates back to the early 13th century. The first college (Peterhouse) was founded back in 1284.

Nowadays, Cambridge is a mixture of ancient architecture, student culture and normal British life. Following tradition, the students May ball is still held in June.

The main tourist attractions are; King's College with its famous chapel, the Old Court of Corpus Christi, the President's lodge at Queens', the Wren Library of trinity and Mathematical Bridge at
Queens, amongst others.
